About Us
The Hawaii Laborers Joint Trust Funds are comprised of six (6) ERISA benefit funds created through the Labor - Management collective bargaining process. The six (6) Laborers Funds are:
1.  Laborers' Annuity Trust Fund - Established in the late 1970's to provide a second source of retirement benefits for eligible plan participants.
2.  Laborers' Apprenticeship and Training Trust Fund - Established in the early 1970's for the job training of eligible Local 368 members.
3.  Laborers' Health and Welfare Trust Fund - Established in 1967 to provide medical, dental, life, vision, prescription drug, TDI, chiropractic, and acupuncture benefits to eligible active participants and retirees.
4.  Laborers' - Employers Cooperation and Education Trust Fund (LECET) - Established in the mid-1990's to provide a joint effort of the Union and Signatory Employers to create employment through active legislation and education.
5.  Laborers' Pension Trust Fund - Established in 1967 to provide monthly retirement benefits for eligible plan participants.
6.  Laborers' Vacation & Holiday Trust Fund - Established in early 1970's to provide vacation and holiday benefits for eligible plan participants.
Each of the above Trust Funds are administered by a Board of Trustees made up of an equal representation of Union Representatives and Employer Representatives from the various Employer Associations signatory to the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Signatory Employers on a monthly basis contribute benefit contributions as specified in the CBA to each of the benefit funds which sole purpose is to provide the best benefits for all plan participants and beneficiaries.
